For its first release, the Easy Bay team has put together a 17-track compilation entitled House, Disco, Boogie, and Other Oddities. Spanning 17 tracks, many of the tape's contributing artists hail from the Bay Area: including Boogie Butter, Bozak, Cherushii, E. Live, Exray's, North County, and VVD WNDWS (in addition to a track from label co-founder Glenn Jackson). Other stateside contributors include Atlanta's Buscrates, Florida's 1-800-Dog-Cigs, New York's Cream Dream, and Yalls, who recently relocated to New Jersey after an extended stint in the Bay Area. Internationally, House, Disco, Boogie, and Other Oddities features new work from Estonia-based Ajukaja, Swiss producer Bauchamp, Polish artist Kobster, Colombian beatmaker Lunate, and The Person, who hails all the way from Australia.

"A lovingly curated mixtape... that collects tracks from 17 different artists, all unified by a goofy bounce that makes focusing impossible in the face of such undeniable grooves." -Pitchfork
"Any compilation that has 'oddities' in its title already offers one compelling reason for us to listen. Thankfully House, Disco, Boogie, and Other Oddities, a new collection on Easy Bay, justifies the initial intrigue with a host of left-centre, playful slabs of – you guessed it – house, disco and boogie." -Stamp the Wax
"For their debut release, Bay Area imprint Easy Bay has put out one of the most fun label comps of the year. As the title implies, it's a showcase of jittery, off-kilter takes on classic dance sounds, blurring the line perfectly between fun and experimentalism." -FACT Mag
DIGITAL SINGLES SERIES #1
Starting off Easy Bay's new Digital Single Series is Knoxville's Persona La Ave (a.k.a. the talented Dylan Dawkins), who delivers two bubbly tracks that push the tempo up a bit higher than his usual brand of soupy, computer-rendered funk. Serving as the virtual A-side here is "Gloria Miami," a breezy number that emphatically nods to the tropical rhythms of Caribbean disco and, not so subtly, the work of groups like Miami Sound Machine. On the digital flipside is "Gimme An A," an at-first driving but then splendidly woozy disco affair.

DIGITAL SINGLES SERIES #2
The second Easy Bay Digital Single comes to us from North County, a relatively new collaborative project between Oakland producers Matthew Tamariello (aka Shortcircles) and Glenn Jackson. Heavily inspired by the music played at long-running Oakland party thePeople, the North County project ventures out into the dreamier ends of the Easy Bay spectrum. The two slow-burning tracks offered here blend new age/cosmic jazz vibes with stoney house music for a pair of tunes that are primed for those early moments in the night when the dancefloor is just starting to fill up with brave souls.

DIGITAL SINGLES SERIES #3
This time around, we've got a pair of sweet-toothed house tracks from label co-founder Glenn Jackson. Clocking in at around seven minutes each, "More to Love" and "Trot" are extended voyages into sample-based fun that come topped with a few cheesy keyboard riffs for good measure.
